My ‘Big Project’ is my family saga, tracing the matriarchal side of my family history from my Nana swimming with the Great White shark in Cape Town, South Africa to love at the stage door of The Empire Theatre in Glasgow. A lot of work and a lot of emotional engagement; working out how to weave the truth with the inevitable fictions, being true to the story and creating a compelling piece of work.
