Photography

Photographs are like capturing an experience; a view; an atmosphere; a feeling – on paper, forever.

I was on holiday in Mexico with my Dad when I was 20 when I first realised how much I liked taking photographs. I’d taken lots of shots up until that point, but it was the rows of souvenirs; the sand, the ruins, the fish underwater. I had to get those images and it was more important to get the scenery and surroundings than the usual ‘people’ shots on the beach.

People say I have ‘an eye’ for a shot. I don’t know. I just like taking photographs.

The husband got me a Diana lomography camera for Christmas, and a 35mm Fisheye Camera.

I’m excited, enthused. I have colour filters. Watch this space.
